Aurele Langevin Council Member

Aurele is a seasoned business operations manager who stumbled upon the exhilarating world of squash during occasional matches with friends. His journey took a definitive turn in 2008 when he discovered the Saturday league, prompting him to join the Mt Pleasant club. Under the guidance of dedicated volunteer coaches, Aurele acquired the fundamentals and started to play in Division 6 in 2010. It culminated in a remarkable victory in 2019, where he led his team to triumph as the captain in the Division 2 men's league.

Delving into the realm of volunteerism in 2013, Aurele quickly became an integral part of the Mt Pleasant community. His commitment to the sport and the club saw him assume the role of Hnr Squash Secretary from 2015 to 2019. In 2018, he took on the prestigious position of President for the provincial committee of Leinster Squash, serving with distinction for two impactful years.

Following an unforeseen hiatus caused by the global pandemic, Aurele has joyously returned to the Leinster Squash Committee, eager to contribute and support the resurgence of the sport post-COVID.
