About
Leinster Squash is the representative body for Irish Squash Affiliated Clubs and Players in the Province of Leinster. Our role is to promote and develop the sport throughout the province from Junior, Senior and Master age groups.
Working closely with Irish Squash it contributes towards Strategy, national policies and programmes on an on-going basis. It also designs and operates competitive events including the Leinster League and Leinster Open. It also contributes to Provincial and National Team campaigns.
Over time it designs and operates funding schemes and programmes to help clubs, coaches, officials and players to sustain the game. This includes the Club Junior Development Scheme, Coaching Development and the Referee Incentive scheme.
The committee is made up of volunteers, who give of their time for the love of the sport. The members of the council are voted in on a yearly basis at the AGM. This is normally held in August each year. If you are an affiliated member of Irish Squash, and play in a Leinster Club you are eligible to participate in elections and be nominated posts on the board.
